GROW
GROW is our main community wide event and any student at Flinders is welcome to join us. GROWs run from 5:30-8:30 fortnightly on Tuesdays throughout semester. To find info and location on our upcoming GROWs, click here.
GROW is a key event for our mission as we come to know Jesus as we open the Bible together, love Jesus as we deepen friendships in our community and make Jesus known by providing a space for any student at Flinders to hear more about the good news of Jesus and enjoy being part of our community.
In the first hour we will sing, hear part of the Bible explained, and a few students will pray. In the second hour we will have dinner together and a get to know you activity. In our third hour we will have workshop to equip us to follow Jesus whilst at uni.
If you are a Christian or just wanting to find out more about Jesus, we'd love to invite you along, and your first GROW dinner is on us! There is no pressure to participate in the different aspects of the night, you are welcome to just watch on to experience the evening with us.
Small Groups
One of the best ways to connect with the Flinders ES community is by joining a Small Group. Across a semester you'll get to know 5-10 other students really well.
Small Groups run weekly during uni semesters. These groups of students meet together at uni to read the Bible, to understand it and apply it to our lives. These groups are a great way to learn how to read the Bible for yourself. Each week there will be an opportunity to share prayer requests with your group members too.
There are different study times available throughout the week across Bedford, Sturt, Festival Tower, and Tonsley.
