Connect Camp is one of the highlights of the ES year. It is a great time for university students to meet other Christians from Flinders University and start the year in a great way! To read student testimonies from Connect Camp click here!!

Come and join us for a few days before O-Week to connect, meet new people, and encourage each other before we start the Uni year. Connect camp (formerly called commencement camp) is for both new students and those continuing in their studies. We'll be hearing one of the members of our awesome Staff team, who will be unpacking a part of the Bible with us, with lots of social activities in between.

We'll spend some time looking at what God has to say about Uni life through some Bible talks, and you can find out about what ES does at Uni as well as having fun on the river with your peers!

MYC

MYC, or Mid-Year Conference, is a great time for students to be challenged and encouraged in the middle of the Uni year and be equipped to make it through to the end! MYC is a time to hear Bible talks and look deeper into these passages in small groups, as well as relaxing and meeting new friends.

MYC 2022 was focused on the Cross of Christ, covered over a four-day camp which included fun activities, talks, small groups, and workshops. There are always plenty of opportunities to grow and explore faith in Jesus on MYC.

The next MYC will be in 2023 in the mid-year Uni break. More information will be announced next year. For now, we'd love to have you come along to our on Campus events.

NTE

NTE, the National Training Event, is a camp run by AFES each year in December for students across Australia and the Pacific. This is a great time to dig deeper into the Bible and hear a number of great Bible talks from speakers from around the world.

Each year focusses on a different Christian theme and is tailored directly for students, to equip them for university ministry. NTE also provides a number of opportunities to hear about international and cross-cultural mission.

This year NTE will be held in Canberra from the 3-7 of December, with the theme IDENTITY: Made for More.

For more information, head to the AFES website here!

If you are interested in attending NTE this year with Flinders ES, we will have an expression of interest form available soon.
